Why you should ABSOLUTELY read the “TIME” of December 2021

Hello and welcome today to a new post of “Monday News-day” and I think that at the end of this post you’ll ask yourself why you’re not already reading TIME.

So first thing first the person of the year is none other than Elon Musk, the most sympathetic billionaire of all time, yes he’s making a Million time your income but still, isn’t he cool when he smoke a joint during a podcast without making a face or while he develop the most useless and false-futuristic project with the boring company. Did you know that the world leading table-tennis team was Chinese, yep neither did I. WAIT okay that’s not all this magazine has to offer, the “best of culture” is filled with the best book music, films, TV shows and podcast of the year and honestly this should be consider as a to do list for everyone that didn’t already read, watch or listen to the master piece that this non exhaustive list contain, if your locked down because of Covid well check them from your list, talking about Covid, 6 pages are dedicated about the subject and honestly that his refreshing because you know that the source are reliable contrary to the internet where you can learn that vaccine gives you 5G (as a matter of fact that would be kinda dope if it really did that). Did you knew about the Moldovan oil production (more interesting than the Chinese table-tennis team hun) well you can learn about it with Vaja Jhashi (glad I’m writing it and not saying out loud) maybe we are not so doomed after all thank you Moldova.

    So yeah read it

You live, you learn,

You live, you learn

(a blog post by Maximilien)

(leave a like and subscribe)

hey today I’m going to talk about a subject that is close to my heart, in Germany they call it bildungsromans, it’s what we would call a coming of age story, mine is not crazy enough to talk about it here but throughout many books and films.

If there is something that I will point at is that it seems that every character had the roughest childhood of all. I know that you know who’s Harry Potter and what more complicated and rough childhood than his, poor child beaten and mistreated by his adoptive family and live under the stairs (everything is wrong in this sentence I know 🤣😭) and has you may guess Harry is not receiving the best education of all and that’s where the title make sens, Harry in a very literally way is going to learn (his going to Poudlard, that’s so cool I wish that existed in real life) by leaving his old environment and growing up, after a quick reflection I realized that maybe, just maybe, Poudlard wasn’t perfect, I mean there is, from time to time, a ghost or two trying to eat eat your face but you know… magic is still pretty cool. Anyway my point is that it’s showing a direct transition from a world to an other.

So we saw and happy moment with Harry where coming of age is a transition to a better version of himself and now let me break your mood with something way more realistic and harsh, The Hate U Give a story about a young girl that have to face a world where racism is still here (just to say that this is supposedly happening in 2016, so yeah it’s our world that I’m talking about) her passage to the adulthood is when she saw her friend getting killed just before her eyes, he didn’t seamed to know all about the code you have to follow with an armed officer, she learned everything to do in this situation and that showed to be very useful. So she knew about the theory but the practice came with a gun shot that she will never forget. That’s how you learn by living.

Life goes like a flow and some time you end up in a giant mansion like school on a big rock sometime you see your mate getting killed by a racist police in both case you learn that life is though and you should enjoy it will it last, in anyway you end up learning by living.

Best inventions 2021

Time magazine, Best Inventions of 2021 edition :

Why should you read it ?

After reading this magazine that was very long and informative, I understood why I think everyone should read it. It is because so many topics are used, and one of them will obviously interest you. In it we can of course find sciences, since it is the topic of this edition, but also a lot of ecology, about the cop26, some economy and geopolitics. Everyone has to find his plesaure in this book, since it gives you, in the passage about the best inventions of 2021, many of very detailed and well thought inventions : from the connected case which reminds you to take your birth control pills to the little robot cars that brings you your orders with no driver, we understand that progress never stops. We also can see that the goal of theese inventions are mainly to iprove people's lifes : for people with money, some nike sneakers that you can put on hand free, for the little children in the hospital, an AI that talk with them and help them to cure, for the low-electricity access places, a new external battery which generates electricity with a solar pannel. They enven show a DIY robotic prothesis arm, that really make us believe in a better future. All of those topics, all very different from one to another are actually what makes the interest of this Times edition : a diversified an pleasable source of learning.

Young Voices : "You live, you learn"

You live, You learn :

18/01/2022, 21h19, by Léa

Recently, I've read a very well-known book written by an American writer that everyone have eard of : Moon Palace by Paul Auster. Throughout the book, I was finding similarities between the life experiences of the protagonist, and my personal life experiences. After talking with one of my friend who has also read this book, I realise that her too.

But how this his even possible ? How can we identify to life experiences of a fictional caracter, especially a caracter with a life full of twists and turns ? I think that Moon Palace really illustrates a sort of transition, maybe an evolution, during the life. And everyone - I'm sure that you too - have experienced difficulties during their grown-up, this is what we call a "coming of age". A sort of rite of passage that educate and teach the young and innocent, to make them adults aware about the difficulty of life. In many cases, this "coming of age" really hurts. Your ideals are belieds, the world that you were imaginating is totally different, your innocence is lost. And those hardships are the key to prepare yourself for the tumultuous life that is coming.

We can easily said that whithout those hardships, your life as an adult will be a disaster, because you won't be prepared and concious of the reality, you will still be a child or an immature person that believes that life isn't so hard. Thanks to those falls, you will raise easier. I recomand you to do some researchs on this topic, once you understand this, I promise that your vision on life is going to change, especially for us, young people that are kind of lost in their lifes.

Thanks for reading me today, I hope this topic has tempted your attention ! Next week, we are going to treat about how to deal with school problems and how to find your path in the school world. See you next week !

Time magazine

 Hello everyone,

Today i am going to talk about orders on internet.

Since the covid crisis, people orders more and more on internet for absolutly everything. For example, we can order food thanks to "the drive", a lot of web site suggest to buy clothes like Shein, Pretty Little Thing... and we have many website available to obtain random stuff like Amazon.

In America, the famous company Fedex delivering more pckage than ever before since the pandemic. This is an interesting article because it traces the journey of a giant giraffe that somebody orders and we can follow the way from factory to doorstep. It took him 38 days to arrive before the pandemic and 53 days during the pandemic.

As a matter of fact ,we are all concerned about this business because more and more people between 18 and 25 years old, so young people, use this method to gain time, a wider range of choices... But the problem is, firstly it pollues a lot because of the transport used, clients become more exigent so the companies are more concurrential , prices grows and it leads to inflation.

From my point of view, I ask you to red this article in oder to be more responsible, to inform you and be aware of the consequences in the future.
