I shall Always remember

Yoshitomo Nara, Miss moonlight 2020

The first time i saw this painting it gave me an impression of immobility and calm that truly enhances my feelings.

The more and more i looked at it I thought that her eyes were going to open themselves in a second it was like I was waiting for this moment.

This piece of art truly embodies the idea of tranquility peace and waiting/patience.

Après la pluie le acide, Yoshitomo Nara (2006)

I saw her from far, I got closer and I saw her looking at me. I look at her back and her eyes were sparkling. She is in a purple water which contrast with her orange dress. She seems sad but her eyes are sparkling : her inside beauty and happiness is getting out of her body.

The ten largest,Dë Tio Största,1907

Those paintings convey a lot of emotions, the first ones (blue tones) give an impression of sadness and loneliness. Then, the orange ones give a feeling of anger and make me feel anxious . The other ones become more and more calm with an increasing feeling of serenity.

Rising Sea by El Anatsui, 2019

I find this artwork very interesting because it combines art and ecology. The artist collects waste found in the sea to recreate a seascape. The painting is very detailed and abstract at the same time, which encourages reflection and imagination.
