Movie review

 « The hate you give » is a vibrant and powerful movie/drama about what black people in the US have to endure everyday. It is set in the US about a black family that has to deal with racism and violence made by the police.

Starr is a young black female who tries to live her teenage life peacefully. But one day she’ll lose someone close to her due to a violence comitted by a white police man to her black friend. She will fight for him and a cause that stills is an issue nowadays. The movie is really emotional and shattering knowing it happened in real life. People can easily rely on it. And the film director did an amazing job talking about racism and violence on civil.

The message of this movie is that racism is still present and we have to continue our fight to help the cause.

Buste de Marie-Thérèse

 

For this sculpture called « buste de Marie-Thérèse » made in 1931, Picasso is using plaster.

The sculpture represents a bust, with an elongated neck and a head with unsual proportions. It’s part of the cubism movement to create destructured figures and faces, here we can see that the face has différents aspects according to your point of view. She has a prominent nose and uneven eyes.

However Picasso succeeded to creat harmony by assembling these elements and the plaster seated a soft and smooth texture.

Haring is a popular artist who began his career in New York in the 1980s, with his unique and bold drawing style that quickly became famous the world over.

 

The titan's goblet is an artwork from the Hudson River School movement, which is nicknamed as a painting within a painting by the metropolitan museum of art, New York USA.
