A QUARD PASSED OUT WHILE THE QUEEN’S COFFIN
While standing guard by the Queen’s coffin as it lies in state inside Westminster Hall at the Palace of Westminster, a member of the royal guard collapsed and police rushed to his side.
Surprisingly, fainting is not an uncommon occurrence for the Queen's guards, particularly at large scale events like Trooping the Colour which require them to stand still for extended periods of time.
Members of The Royal Family meet members of the public across the United Kingdom.
The Prince and Princess of Wales were in Sandringham today, The Earl and Countess of Wessex in Manchester and The Princess Royal in Glasgow.
Meanwhile, The Princess Royal was in Glasgow where she met representatives from The Queen’s Scottish Patronages. The Princess also took the opportunity to meet members of the public who had gathered.
