On Sunday 11th of September, Queen
Elizabeth’s coffin starts its journey to London accompanied by the Queen’s only
daughter, Princess Anne. Thousands of people gathered to mourn the Queen and pay
respect to the funeral cortege from Balmoral Castle to the Throne Room of the
Palace of Holyrood house in Edinburgh (Scotland). Indeed, an endless line of
Scottish citizens reunited along the road to show their love and respect for
the Queen. People were crying, applauding and throwing flowers. At the end of
this journey, a state funeral will be held in Westminster Abbey on Monday 19th.
Moreover, in London, people keep coming to Buckingham
Palace to pay tribute and carry flowers to the Queen.
At the same time, the new King met
representatives from across the Commonwealth
