Mick
Fanning was born on 13 June 1981 at Penrith. He is from Australia. He's 34.
He's a profesional surfer. He won 3
times the world championship, in 2007, 2009 and 2013.
In summer 2015, during a
surf competition : The J-Bay Open World Surf League event in South Africa,
he was attacked by a shark. In the middle of the competition live viewers on TV
and spectators on the beach who were looking at the surfer in competition saw a
shark's fain in the direction of the surfer. So every body thought that the
shark had grabbed mick's leg or mick's foot but the shark had just grabbed the
board. During the attacked his opponent Julian Wilson tried to help mick but
the jet-ski arrived before Julian could rescued Mick. The attack lasted only
few seconds.
We believe Mick Fannig should be the hero of 2015 since he survived a shark attack.
